Recently, we went to Vermont to peep the fall leaves. It was amazing and chilly! While I was having hot flashes, they went away much faster, which was really nice. Now, I’m not saying I woud live in colder weather year round after being in the Caribbean for over 20 years, but it was pretty darn nice. We got to wear our cold weather clothes, almost got to see the northern lights too. In fact, it seemed like every other person around got to see the northern lights except for us…but that’s ok. I would love to stay in one of those glass igloos in Iceland…maybe one day!
Now, I’m off to the ferry dock to see if I can get my car on the ferry to take my daughter to the “big airport”, or SJU, in order for her to fly back to college tomorrow. Empty nesting once again after one month of her being home.
